London has a variety of world-class museums and galleries.

Most of the major venues also have free admission, although voluntary donations are ‘encouraged’ and special exhibitions often have an admission charge.

Here are five ways to take advantage of London’s great museums:

1. If you are interested in the subject matter, many of these museums and galleries will take at least a day of your time.
2. As many are so large, a good approach is to make several visits spread over your trip, made possible by the free admission.
3. Some of the museums also have late night openings.
4. All have restaurants and most will have workshops and lectures available.
5. And yes it’s true, there are so many museums in London that there are even museums for people who don’t like museums!
